Wow I've totally not been keeping up with this blog, have I? Well, I have lost a total of 13lbs in about five weeks and am learning a little along the way.
I pack my lunch regularly at work so that helps me control my eating. I also pack snacks so I'm not tempted to go to the snack box at work (which is filled with high fat, high calorie sweets). I haven't cut out my Pepsis yet...I love them too much to give them up completely, but I have cut them down drastically, sometimes not having one at all throughout the day. I do drink Diet Coke, but alternate it with water, so I get in my daily intake of water.
Today is my dad's birthday so I'm going to celebrate by having a cupcake. I know it is so evil, but I've got to treat myself and I think my waist will forgive me this one time :)

The Wii Fit is Kicking My Butt!
Last week, my DH Paul bought a wii fit. I absolutely love it but it is kicking my butt! I have been using it almost everyday and apparently I'm really out of shape! But I still LOVE it. I've been doing all the step exercises and even dabbled in a little Kung Fu. It has become a competition between me and the kids to beat each other's scores, which makes me happy too.
I weigh in tomorrow...and I haven't had any real issues this week, other than working out. I've earned a lot of activity points this week...from playing tennis and working out on the wii. So we'll see tomorrow how I've done. Wish me luck!

This Week's WI
I was only down .4 this week. And even though I cried when I got on the scale and saw it hadn't changed that much, I think I know why it didn't. For one thing, I went to Taco Bell on Wednesday night. Even though I had the points to eat what I did, and I didn't even use all my weeklies, that food still has a lot of sodium. And I didn't drink a lot of water on Wednesday either. So...this is a whole new week. Let's see how that goes.
